having hit the halfway mark for this internship, i was beginnin to feel a sense of stagnation at work.. . it is the most unbearable period after all that initial hype and enthusiasm has died down.. but the end is nowhere is sight either so u dun feel any sense of relief yet.. and then u start to ponder abt the meaning of ur lowly existence.......

but the heck. tomorrow is da BIG day!

if all goes well.. my report will be published tmr morning (in conjunction with the company's first day trading) and to be honest, it is really quite unnerving.. will my forecast look reasonable? did i mistype any number? arrrggghhh juz hope it will turn out all right! i'll also get to visit the sgx tmr - for the fun of counting down to 9 (we heard there's gonna be lion dance and they'll strike the gong at 9 sharp) to see what price the ipo opens at.. and then hang around for breakfast.. b4 returning to my miserable work desk. [have started work on another report but the story just isnt as exciting.. ]

and after work.. i'll be attending the first trading day celebration dinner at shangri-la! havent been there in a lonnnnnng time.. guess i wld be happier if i owned some of their shares.. but hah, conflict of interest! nvm, will just go there and eat their money's worth! ok, shall try to enjoy tmr cuz i suspect this will be the peak of my internship, following which, life's probably gonna be as dry and unexciting as e desert again...
