My Country Garden

winter chill's the bitch!

but the folks here are very warm.. they are really helpful with directions, but you must know how to speak japanese. whatever jap i have learnt over the last 3 months, works shit here. jap is really too chim and what we have learnt is only but the tip of the iceberg.

went to gion district today and a geiko showed us around.. ended up having jap food at a fast food restaurant. so u buy tickets for the meal you wanna have at the vending machine and pass your ticket to the staff who will then serve you the food when it is ready. quite the idea wor..

overall, kyoto is quite the ancient city to visit if u like a quaint and quiet sorta lifestyle. there are cheap buys in this city, if u keep your eyes wide open..

we are heading for takayam tomorrow, which is on the mountains.. think it will be even colder. ciao!
