My Country Garden

I dont believe this y'all.

When the sun first reported that britney's MV for break the ice was going to be an animated video, i thought it was a ridiculous joke. but as it turns out, this just cannot be any further from the truth, afterall, it aint april 1st yet. Much to my disappointment, the video really exists and has just been launched today:

As the mole puts it "desperate situation calls for desperate measures". i'm not sure if the situation is SO damn desperate that it warrants for such a measure. i am thoroughly disappointed with the record company, because they should be providing britney with the help she needs to regain her former standard as an artiste instead of disguising her problems with an animated video. i'm not blaming them entirely because it seemed that britney herself actually initiated this lousy idea.

i dont know. the video is not terrible. on the contrary it is palatable. but it so happens that break the ice is my fave track from the album and i was really expecting britney to come up with a really cool dance routine for this tune especially since she's been practising quite a bit on her moves recently.

oh well. one's gotta move on. and on we go.. to happier things.

dok sai was back briefly for about a week and it was just great catching up. i mean, we do keep in contact thru email (or rather, facebook recently) but meeting up face to face was just great.

we kickstart her return with a bout of korean steamboat at Awon, followed by dimsum lunch at hei she hui the next day. yesterday, we met up at pet's house for some hardcore gaming with the Wii.

It was my first time actually playing it although i've seen it around when i was travelling in japan back in dec. i must say i am very impressed with how real it felt. my arm is actually aching now because we played too much virtual tennis yesterday.. amazing how physically straining it can be huh? you actually go thru the same motion as you would playing tennis on the courts, but minus the ball and the sun. perfecto.

people are betting i wouldnt mention this, and so to prove them wrong, i shall say it. i was the overall loser yesterday, regardless of which freaking game we played, i always came in last. at black jack, i lost every single one of my chip right down to the last penny. for bowling, baseball, boxing and even bomberland i led the league tables from bottom up. the only thing i nearly excelled in was tennis, where i came in third. (there were 4 players in total) and so yea, i pretty much sucked at everything the entire day, but i promise to play better next time. so watch out y'all!

many thanks again to pet for hosting us. we had a great feast yesterday, as always. and i'm missing the tennis already..
